1. To work with parents/guardians about food issues -- NO DIETS:
a. Parents/guardians are the ones that bring food into
the home, prepare the foods
b. Parents work through their food issues/problems so
they can be role models for exercise, nurition, and
healthy eating for their children
2. To work with children/kids:
a. To learn how to have a positive self and positive body image
TO LIKE WHO THEY ARE -- JUST THE WAY THEY ARE!!!
b. To learn by doing sensible, fun, daily exercise/activity
c. To practice an active lifestyle
d. To reduce the amount of TV and computer time -- decrease
sedentary activity
e. To learn and practice new physical skills -- to
gain confidence, courage and self-assurance.
